Internship Indicia Week 17

Sharpening the story & final touches

The week began with a clear focus: getting my internship report and final presentation on paper and processing the last client feedback on ongoing sites. By midweek, the central narrative was solid, and most visuals were already laid out.

Between writing sessions, I was asked to transfer several TailorIT trainings to the sister platform TailorYou. This turned out to be straightforward, so the content moved over neatly in one go. The success of that quick migration underscored how efficient reusable structures are. Something I want to highlight in my presentation.
A key milestone was incorporating the final corrections for TotalFund: adding disclaimers, inserting new text, and unifying the tone throughout. It energized me to see how a few targeted changes can make such a difference. At the same time, I was reminded how challenging it is to work without clear source content.

What stood out was the second revision round for Living First. Divi still isn’t the most flexible builder. Every seemingly small request took more time than expected. Still, I enjoyed fine-tuning the design with Rik and Thomas, especially once the mobile version began running more smoothly. That positive feedback made the effort worthwhile.
The shorter workweek due to Ascension Day was welcome; the days off did me good. All in all, the week went smoothly: the internship report is about three-quarters complete, TotalFund is nearly ready for publication, and Living First looks fresher and works better on mobile. What can improve is sharpening the content requirements upfront. In the coming week, I plan to finalize my presentation, test the last remaining points on TotalFund, and take on new tasks while wrapping up old ones. With those goals in mind, I look forward to the next sprint with confidence.
