De Swaen

The Swaen is a unique restaurant in Oisterwijk. The chic ambiance of the restaurant is reflected in the website. The new site has received a modern touch. On the homepage, all weekly chef’s specials from the menu are visible. If there are any changes to the menu, customers can easily make adjustments themselves.

Restaurant De Belvertshoeve

In the forests of Oisterwijk lies Bos Restaurant De Belvertshoeve. This restaurant needed a new website to create a better online presence for the business. The website has been given a refreshed style, reflecting the homely and tranquil atmosphere with its green colors and elegant fonts. The website features a dynamic menu that the customer can easily customize. Additionally, the texts on the site have been rewritten.

Pull Productions

At Pull Productions, it’s possible to have your story entirely captured in video. That needed to be immediately clear when visiting their website, whether you’re there for a corporate video, a social media and product video, or a livestream. On the other hand, the website itself is original in its own way. Each website has its own style and color, even if it is based on another site. In this case, it clearly reflects the collaboration between Pull Productions and Umotus Video.

Umotus Video

The Story Begins Here” is the motto and driving force behind the entire website design for Umotus Video. Each section of the website was intended to be a visually impressive experience where Umotus Video’s film techniques could shine. That’s why we opted for a compact and powerful website design.

Happy Racket

Happy Racket is the first website we have built under the banner of Evo Digitized, it holds a special significance for us. Happy Racket specializes in stringing tennis rackets and operates a small webshop. The client desired a compact and clear website with a sporty character. This way, people in the vicinity can clearly identify the business, understand who they are dealing with, and know where to drop off their tennis rackets for necessary replacements.

Stichting De Belvertshoeve

The Belvertshoeve is a care concept for young people aged 18 to 28 with mild intellectual disabilities and/or behavioral issues. Clients typically explore the website together with their representative to gather information about housing and/or education. Therefore, The Belvertshoeve wanted a website that is inviting and easy to navigate. Representatives should also be able to register their clients. This required close communication regarding the requirements for the registration form and the process of submission for the applicant.

Favourite Special Projects

Feeling the Earth

While most of my projects center around websites, this venture stands apart from the digital domain. We were tasked with an experimental design project by Avans University of Applied Sciences, focusing on creating wearable technology to enrich user senses. Collaborating with Mike den Ouden, our goal was to provide users with a sixth sense in the form of a compass, complemented by a seventh sense to detect temperature changes beyond normal human perception. This innovative experience is facilitated through vibrations in the mask, introducing users to a new realm of sensory exploration.

Learning new skills

Every year I make a conscious effort to expand my skill set. In a project at Avans known as Free Space, I seized the chance to craft entertaining prototype items, each serving as a learning opportunity for new skills. My specific aim was to design and build a remote-controlled car, delving into the realms of 3D modeling and 3D printing throughout the entire process. The tangible result is the medieval-themed remote-controlled car showcased in the image above.

Supermarket of the Future

The title captures it perfectly. Avans presented us with a project that mandated the use of certain technology to address our chosen problem. Collaborating within a team of six, our focus was on creating a prototype supermarket that offers automated assistance for individuals unable to push their own carts. The device is designed with the capability to locate every item in the supermarket and guide a standard shopping cart to each item on a given shopping list.

Killer Queen

Crafting a compelling story offers a multitude of avenues, but the true challenge lies in creating something truly captivating. Even major budget movies struggle with this aspect at times. In this particular project, our aim was to design an experimental short film, distilling a unique and gripping story into just a minute. Every detail in the narrative serves a crucial role, providing subtle hints about what transpires. The objective wasn’t to showcase shimmering high-quality scenes but rather to meticulously construct a narrative that engages the viewer into the story.

Current project (in the works)

At present, I am engaged in a project alongside a diverse group of individuals spanning the globe. Our collective effort is dedicated to bringing to life a game codenamed ‘Athena’. This marks my most significant collaborative undertaking thus far, and I am eager to share any developments or insights that may arise.
